USB Aromatherapy Oil Burner

I kid you not..! it does exist .. at $5.99!! awesome..!! Scent is one of our most unusual senses because it can affect our moods without our conscious mind realizing it. Olfactory neurons are slower to absorb information and also slower to give it up – which means the when a smell affects you, it lingers. Department stores use smell manipulation all the time to get consumers to behave how they want. Now you can manipulate your sniff-cells in your own work place. Freshen the air and affect your mood in two easy steps with the USB Aromatherapy Oil Burner.

Satellite Radio – Sirius

sirius1.jpg

When one gets only one radio station in the entire county.. and its sucks.. what do you do..?? get a satellite radio of course.. and what better station to buy than sirius. But seriously, I’ve listened to some channels.. and found them interesting. The one program i loved best is Howard Stern.

The Sirius Stratus Plug & Play Satellite Radio and Vehicle Kit features a dockable design for easy, attractive in-vehicle installation and true Plug & Play versatility. Vertical form factor fits easily into smaller vehicles and tighter mounting locations. Three-line display can show artist, title and channel information simultaneously. At $49.99 it’s steal.. !! but you have to pay and subscribe to it, i think it is like $10 a month.

Canon PowerShot SD870IS 8.0MP

I already have a Canon that had served me well for the last 3.5 yrs.. but i’m in the market for another one. Fuji does seems cheap enough.. but i really prefer the Canon. This Canon Powershot SD870IS is at an affordable price of $327, relatively cheaper than my old one which cost us $500+

With a large 3.0 inch LCD to show you want you are taking pictures of .. and a 8.0 megalpixel of resolution, you cannot really asked for more. . at that price.

NES Coffee Table

nescoffeetable.jpg

Wanna play some games..?? Kyle Downes has modded the coffee table into its best version ever: a retro-tastic NES controller. Just look at the sleek lines, the high quality finish and classy glass top. And it actually works!! Kyle spent months putting this together, starting with a scanned image of his original NES control. This he then simply scaled up, carefully crafting each piece out of MDF and hacking his own wiring onto a broken old controller board. The glass top was the final touch, to protect those giant buttons, and inside there’s plenty of storage. I guess if you’re up for some giant 8-bit game-controlling action you’d probably need someone else on hand. So, it’s not exactly the highest of tech, but, like all the best ideas, it’s a simple one.

Sun & Moon Jars

Captured inside the Sun and Moon Jars are a highly efficient solar cell, a rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in direct sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar.

The light is diffused by the frosted jar and give the appearance of sunlight emitting from the sun or a cool moon glow (warm colored LED lights are used to give a more natural and warm light). You may have noticed that there is no switch on the Sun Jar – in fact there are no visible controls at all – but there is a clever light sensor inside that automatically activates the LEDs when it gets dark or the lights are turned out! (There is an override switch inside the lid to turn off the light at night and conserve battery life.)

Mason jars are not only beautiful but by their very nature they are water tight – so the Sun Jar can happily be left outside in any weather conditions. A perfect garden light or night light for a childs bedroom. The Sun Jar needs DIRECT sunshine to work! Leave the Sun Jar outside or in a sunny window in direct sunlight for several hours to charge, (electric light indoors is not bright enough!). The Sun and Moon Jars use a standard AA rechargeable battery, which is replaceable.  From ThinkGeek.com at $34.99.

Midnite Fumbling No More

For someone who is as blind as a bat in the mornings.. you can imagine .. the first thing i reached out for when i wake up in the middle of the nite.. for medication or to use the washroom.. is my glasses. And you are groggy.. and the room is pitch black.. and you prolly knocked your glasses onto the floor.. and when you try looking for it.. you might even bump your head onto the nite stand of yours. So having this nite coaster as they called it.. is a great thing. But at $25 .. it does seems a wee bit ex eh…??

It doesn’t stay on .. like your nite lamp.. but with a wave of your hand over the nite coaster.. it illuminates it enough so you can see where your things are .. when you are in bed. It then shuts off.. once you have had time to find what you need. So it is like sensored thingie and shuts off by itself.. when you are done.
