Cluttered Alright

Inspiring eh..??  gotta love the computer room looking this nice .. despite the clutter.  Cluttered alright if you asked me.  My study room looks darn messy.. this is gonna inspire me.. to dress up my study soon.

42″ Plasma

We currently have a 52″ TV .. albeit it isn’t plasma.. but still relatively big.. and produce wonderful picture still. But the spouse had been thinking of getting a plasma for the longest time.  But we are both quite the el cheapo.. and would only buy stuff that is on sale.. or has relatively a good offer.  Although this JVC seems pretty good in price.. i wonder if 42″ is good enough for the spouse. So while i helped my g/f look for  diamond engagement rings he went to check it out.  The specs are as below :

JVC seemed pretty proud of its LT-42WX70 back at CES, and while some may consider this unit’s main selling point a fillip, graphic professionals will likely disagree. The Xiview LT-42WX7 is a 42-inch 120Hz 1080p panel which targets imaging junkies and those who just can’t get enough of those wild, vivacious colors seen in Family Guy re-runs. Said display covers 96 percent of the Adobe RGB color space, theoretically making it suitable for image editing. If you’re buying all that, you can voice your support right now with $2,399.95. Full release is after the break.

Geeky Wedding Favors

Found on Etsy, you gotta love this. I do..!!   All geeks must have this for their wedding..!!! i would be so tickled to attend a wedding and to get this .. as a wedding favor.

At Swan Mountain Soaps, we know the time eventually comes when a geek develops an overwhelming hormonal attraction for another geek. Sometimes, they even mate in real life. Hopefully, their Labia superfluos entafada and Labium inferius connect physically. As everyone knows, the skin on the abovementioned erogenous organ – used in kissing and other acts of intimacy – is not hairy, and does not have sweat glands or sebaceous glands. Therefore the lips do not have the usual protection layer of sweat and body oils which keep the skin smooth, inhibit pathogens, and regulate warmth. For these reasons, the lips dry out faster and become chapped more easily. Besides, all those years of nervously chewing on pencils can take their toll.

Of course geeks hang out with other geeks, and as such we’d expect a plethora of geeks at your wedding. Nobody wants a plethora of chapped geeks.

So we made a wedding favor as smart as you are. No petroleum products, no fillers, and no questionable chemicals. Normally our Geek Balm come unscented, but just for you we’ll flavor it with one of the following scents:

* Apple Pi
* Mountain Dew
* Fruity Mike & Ike

It is, after all, your day.

Windows 7 Beta

Free for a year.. and then pay for it a year later.. now that sounds awesome right..??  heard so much about it lately. . but really don’t wanna try it out yet.. for fear of all the drivers i have to look for and all.The Windows 7 is suppposedly to be Microsoft not only newest baby but a huge user interface overhaul since Windows 95. They say that it recognizes cameras, printers and other add ons immediately and great for those who loves their gadgets like yours truly .. but hate to have to look for drivers.   Windows 7 also knows all about music and movies addition .. and apparently they can master them all.   Looks like it is gonna be easier than i thought.. so i won’t be needing the best fat burners from spending hours in front of the computer.. searching for drivers, since it seems to do so  much.  If anyone had tried it .. please let me know… i’m gonna wait for abit.. like i did with Vista.

Pocket Projector

The BenQ’s Joybee GP1 pocket projector is so cute and small, you can’t resist it. For those who are interested in owning one.. you can now pre-order them.. i heard.. and at $499.  It has a LED based PI with a USB reader. DLP projection system kicking out an 858 x 600 resolution, 100 ANSI lumens, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, a built-in 2-watt speaker and VGA / component / composite inputs.  I think it isn’t expensive. . when you think of how convenient it is .. when you are traveling on business.. and ready to give your biggest sales pitch of the year to your most important customer.  Imagine whipping this tiniest projector ever.. and showing off .. how high tech you are.. to your potential client.  I bet you will seal the deal in no time.

Illuminated Keyboard

We’ve seen illuminated keyboards and they are easily bought in computer stores or online store.  But thes Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard, we definitely liked a lot…!! why..?? with 430 LEDs the Luxeed can light up to the color that you pick and fancy at that particular time.. or according to your mood.  4 preset buttons for you to choose from and customize.  And it isn’t too expensive to own one of this cool thing too.

Comes in black or white.. but the keys of the white one is semi transparent.. pretty cool eh.. and lights up alot more brightly than the black one.   I prefer the black one.. because it’s cooler .. and stylish.  At $149 … gamers like the spouse would love the coolness of the lights.. !

Death Of The Red Ring

Ever since the xbox 360 was on sale .. some years ago, I keep hearing about the red ring of death.  I’m kinda surprised that there are some ppl who still donch know that xbox or microsoft warranties this by default.  Many customers comes in .. and try to sell them to us for parts in which we would advise them to give a call to Microsoft.   They pretty much take care of you . .from the time.. they pick up the call.. and pay for the shippinig and all.

But having said all the above.. I’m sure Microsoft wants to see the death of the Red Ring more than anyone else.  Can’t imagine them.. liking the fact that they are paying extras.. for all the shipping and sending out new or refurbished machines.   Microsoft began sneaking out Xbox 360s with the smaller, cooler 65 namometer “Falcon” CPU chipset inside when they released the Halo 3 special edition console this past holiday.  And while they said it is less prone to the same problem, it’s the next revision of the system codenamed “Jasper” that would elimate the problem once and for all.  Jasper will be on sale in August.

The Blackberry Curve 8900 looks a lot better than the 8000 but with Rogers current offer of $174.99 it is an offer not many can resist.
