It’s getting really cold these days for exercising outside – I still have my running shorts out though – but it will come soon -whereby we have to exercise in the basement – and for me – a 30 mins exercise is a must. One cannot sit in front of the computer and not exercise the entire day – else I would be obese as the doctor put it very directly to me one day.
I do my step aerobics in the basement during the late fall and winter – with my running shorts and t-shirt and at first it is cool but after the first 10 mins – it warms up. What about you ? what kind of exercises do you do during the fall and winter? the spouse still goes for his biking – but i won’t let him take the kids along this time of the year. In the summer it’s fine – but now – it gets too chilly.

Includes 8 boosters and it’s out for sale for about a week now I think? well more than a week actually – so i was corrected. It had been selling well for us here at the store – in fact the day it was released, we saw the die hard gamers – who came and bought several fat packs from us. At about $35 a pack – not cheap at all – but they do sell and they do buy. So far our customers had been really lucky and getting lots of good cards – useful ones? that’s another story altogether.

The spouse who just came home from a trip to Japan said to me that he wanted a futuristic toilet from now on. I know what he was talking about – because the toilets in Japan are definitely different from the ordinary ones we get at our home. You see you can now get toilets with seat warmers for the winter or with bidet function, some even have massages while you are doing your thing. Others provide white noises and but for me – a toilet flush is most important. Can you imagine – going to the toilet and it wouldn’t flush properly – and you have to clean up after a house guest? yes! that is awful or someone has to clean up after you. So yes! not all toilets are made the same way now – you can have the ordinary ones – or you can look for the ones that my spouse was telling me – or ones – that flushes good. It all depends on how much you wanna spend.

We are in the market to buy a washing machine and a dryer – not that ours has broken down yet – but ours was 2nd hand and it had been working for a good – 8 yrs now. But if you are like myself looking for home appliances – the best time to get them is during the fall – because the new models come out during the fall – so the last year’s model goes a lot cheaper – if you are not that kind of person looking to get the latest and newest model.
And in Canada – look out for those no tax sale day as well – you can save as much as 15% and if your home appliaces is about $1000 – you save as much as $150 ! and if you are not too fussy – try to get the floor model – because the floor models – no one wants them – after being on display for so long – so whatever prices they ask of you – you can usually ask even lower. So yes! you can buy cheap home appliances – if you time it properly.
