BuckyBalls Pink

Pink is definitely pretty - but you must be wondering what do they do right?  I wondered too - I walked around Staples the other day and saw these on sale.  So I looked at it - and it didn’t really tell me a lot.  These buckyballs has 216 neo-magnet balls and are made with nickel finish.  Well, I found a video on youtube on it - and it looked pretty fun - basically - you just turned them into things and shapes you want. Apparently, these are made to relieve stress but not for kids to play with - guess they are afraid that kids may swallow them - and I won’t rule that out - because I pushed an eraser into my nose when I was a kid.  What was I thinking right?  Pretty amusing - and it would cost you like $30 for them - after shipping.

Batteries

For those who knows me - you would know I loved to take pictures - even before I had a digital camera but I used to have to curb myself from taking too much because developing the pictures and buying the films for the pictures were very expensive back then.  Now that I have a Canon digital camera - I of course have to take whatever I see - and not once but many times to get the right picture and right lighting.  Thank God for rechargeable batteries eh!  else I would be in big trouble - so whenever people asked me whether we sell batteries - I always recommend the canon batteries to them because I’ve had good luck with them all these years since I’ve had my first digital camera when my kid was born.  So 7 yrs today - I still have my original canon battery and another spare one just in case I run out.   So folks don’t forget to get rechargeable batteries for your digital cameras and all your other electronics that you need for your gadgets.

Calorie Counting SmartPhone

I think a phone like that might become a hot seller for the ladies - for we are always counting our calories of whatever we eat.  I wouldn’t mind having a phone like that if it is ready for sale.  Exhibited in Japan’s trade show recently - this was just a prototyped - so I don’t know how long more it will take to be out in the market.  And how accurate it is - I don’t really know but at least you kinda know what kind of calories are you taking in for each item you put into your meal.  So watch out for the NTT Docomo smart phone where you take the picture of the food you are going to consume and it tells you what are the calories in them.

Stitch Panoramic Photos

I’ve always been amazed at folks who takes panoramic shots of scenery and wonder how they do it?  is it the camera or was it a special software but i was too lazy to look it up or ask anyone - not because i was too proud but i figured if i wanted to know bad enough - i would be able to find the information on the net - just like diet pills that work .

Well, it wasn’t me that needed to do a panoramic shot - but my kid for a school project - so here it is - some locales that cannot be captured in a standard 5×7 inch photograph, like the Grand Canyon for instance.  So to replicate the ultra wide field of vision in digital photography, you’ll need to use a technique called panoramic photography.  One way to do this is by investing in an expensive DSLR camera and as fisheye lens designed specifically for capturing wide stretching scenes.  But the quickest way to create the same effect with a $50 point and shoot is also possible.

First you need a digital camera, a tripod which is optional, and use the Microsoft image composite editor which is free.  Stitching is really easy - i heard it doesn’t come any easier with Microsoft’s Image Composite Editor.  After you install and load the program, select the photos on your hard drive or camera’s memory card and drag and drop them into ICE’s main window.  ICE will do the dirty work for you and automatically stitch the images together.  Easy - peasy - have fun now.

Fake Security Camera

I showed the spouse this fake security camera that we could buy for our home that way even if we are on vacation it would look like we are protected and scare away potential intruders.  The camera has a blinking light to show that it is in operation and it MOVES!!  i told him.  In which he laughed and said for $59.99 - I can get a real one to do a real job.   You see security cameras are so cheap now - why waste money on getting a fake one right..??  Oh well - i tried.. i better still with my wrinkle treatment reviews instead.

SD1200 Canon

I have an SD 1100 and i’m pretty happy with it.. but i sure love the colors for the SD1200 Canon.  I told my buddy to give up cigars for a month to get one of these for his g/f and she would probably let him have a football nite with the boys… hahhaha!!

The SD1200 works pretty much the same as SD 1100 as far as i can tell ..  but this Friday… being the Black Friday, you can get it at $149 instead of the usual $219 at certain places.  This camera is definitely now affordable lightweight and a responsive camera that is easy for the amateur to use, but has enough features for the more knowledgeable photographer to get a precise shot.  It is true.. that pictures come out really nice.. i’ll even put my reputation on it.

Digital Camera

We found on some free directories for a supplier in Hong Kong that supplies stuff like Digital Camera for very cheap.  They are of no brand of course but they do work and cost very little - i think like $5 cost.  But I have to warn you the clarity is not the same as those you get from logitec of course .. but for $5 .. you can’t really go wrong with it.  Plus they do look really stylish and shiny…  but the waiting time for shipping took a very long time, so if you are in no real hurry, sure go ahead and order them for Christmas.
