Techy ChickWho Says Women Don’t Know Tech Stuff

We sell used games and movies and having a store so small - you need to maximize space and shelving are not cheap - even used ones.  But cardboard displays are cheap and easy to store away - when you don’t need them anymore and they saved us lots of space too.  In fact, we bought more than we need right now - so that we can use them for different stuff - cardboard displays will never go out of fashion either.  And you know what’s best about them?  putting them up in our display windows - for displaying our products we have for sale or special offer - looked very professional too.

Yes ! this techy chick is changing career and looking for other jobs and even thinking of jobs retail.  Seeking a new job for the young is easy for sure - but for someone who is older - i hope it doesn’t post too much of a problem.  Why am I looking for a retail job?  well, I’m good with people, I love talking - i love making new friends and meeting people - I’m not shy and I do have the gift of the gab - so everyone says.   And I was told before - or many times in fact that because of my ability to make people feel comfy - i should be in the retail sector.  And since working for the spouse - doesn’t prove profitable - I am changing career!  Wish me luck everyone.

I’ve always been asked by people if one can really make money online and how do you know that it is not a scam?   Can you really make money online?  how much could you make?  can you live off your earnings from making money online? do i get instant money?  how many hours do i have to work to make money online?

All valid questions and there is no easy answers to all.  How would you know if it is a scam? it’s through trial and errors.  In my 3 years doing it - I’ve seen all sorts and experience not getting paid also after doing a review.  How much you can make - depends on how much networking and how much you ae willing to work.  If you have traffic on your blogs or not.  Some people live on what they make online like Pro-blogger - Darren Rowse and yes - sometimes you can make instant money by just placing a link if the advertiser/s fancies your blog.  And how many hours you work all depends on yourself.  And yes - there are so many things you can do to make money online - from Google Adsense to Linkbucks and writing reviews or become a house writer for a online magazine to a foodbuzz publisher writing about food. it takes time to explore and like i said - it’s all trial and errors.  Anyone asking you to buy a book on how to make money online is nothing but a scam - networking is the most important - so network, network and more network.

You know the funny thing yesterday - my kid asked me how to spell Michael Jackson - and yesterday was his 1 year death anniversary - how weird is that?  I didn’t really know that then - because i was busy figuring out the binoculars that we had gotten for the outlaws for a father’s day gift and he didn’t know how to use it.

The year had gone by so fast and the King of Pops is gone forever, sadly he died too, too young in my humble opinion.  But he did live a life that everyone remember him by - whether you are young or old or middle age - everyone knows who Michael Jackson was - undeniably he was the King of Pops.

I received an email recently from a reader asking if Techy Chick was a nerdy chick hahahah!!!  i almost fell off my chair and thought about it and wanted to reply to the reader.  Well, first off this techy chick still needs beauty face cream every night - and I still want to look great even though I’m into a lot of techy stuff.  While the spouse goes on explaining to a customers about low profile video cards - and his girlfriend looking real dazed - i understood exactly what they were rambling on but didn’t wanna make his g/f feel bad so i didn’t say a thing.   I wear glasses and i also have my hair tied up because of convenience .. does that make me a nerdy chick..?? what is a nerdy chick anyways.. hahahahah!!!  pray tell if anyone knows.   In the meantime, I don’t mind being called a Nerdy chick either.

Inspiring eh..??  gotta love the computer room looking this nice .. despite the clutter.  Cluttered alright if you asked me.  My study room looks darn messy.. this is gonna inspire me.. to dress up my study soon.

It comes with an assortment of colors.. and i really think that they are cute, although some people may beg to differ.  Would I buy it ..?? sure.. why not.. if the price is right.  But given that it is screenless.. and has 2gb of memory and even has a game.. like tamogotchi .. where you feed and train the cow.. it is probably really meant for younger kids.  With that in mind.. i’m hoping that it won’t cost so much.  Oh .. they even have some cow speakers to go with it.

I know some ppl would get really excited.. just seeing it but it’s not out yet but can be pre-ordered.  The die hard fans and followers of World of Warcraft .. i am sure will get this mouse.. specially designed for this game .. from Blizzard and Steelseries.

But it sure looks robotic to me eh.. but  men… of course they like it lah..!! Promises loads of lights .. and it is said to be able to customize to your preferences and no matter what level you are playing at .. it works remarkably to make your performance way better.

Not convinced to spend so much still..?? well.. look at the box it comes in with ..  now you convince..??  pretty stylo malo by my standard.

Wow..!! ipod uniform to entice your kid back to school..?? surely no need for it eh..??  coolest hi-tech uniform..?? i don’t think so..!! i wouldn’t be getting this for my kid.. even if my life depended on it..!!  From Marks and Spencer it seems.. but this is what i call .. to arty farty.. eh..?? specifically for use with ipod only.  Comprises of a blazer and winter coat .. and made use of Fibretronic’s five function keypad controllers.
