I don’t know much about Restaurant System but I definitely know a lot about restaurants and because IJ helped a few restaurants in town and in the county to do their website. An example is a friend’s restaurant in town and I know they are using the best restaurant system for their POS, so they have little problems with running the accounts on a day to day basis.
As for web designing for the restaurants - the restaurant usually bring me in to taste their food and take pictures the food they are serving. I love doing the websites for restaurants for the owners are super good to me - and always gives me treats plus I do make a lot of money doing their websites.
Red box increased their rental by 20% as of today. So folks you are not getting $1 for 1 dvd now - sorry! no more cheap movies for you and in a few years - they will continue to raise their prices. And even though they reported millions in revenue - I think their overhead is just as high - and i’m sure there are people who don’t return their movies and they can’t just swipe their credit cards as easily as you think. So I don’t know how long they will continue to rent cheap dvds - we’ll just have to see.
Blogging is awesome to be honest - I’ve come to meet a lot of people that I wouldn’t have - if it wasn’t for blogging. I wouldn’t know what to do intellectually if it wasn’t because of blogging and because of blogging - I’m kept aware of things around me and also I’m very much in touch with anything that is techy. I like my blogging friends a lot and some become really good buddies who sends me food from home that I otherwise cannot get here. And I also learned of products that I wouldn’t have if not for blogging, like EZBloomers.com custom floral arrangements . I loved sending flowers to friends and family on special occasions and I wished they had this info some 20 yrs ago - when the spouse and I start dating long distance. I would have sent him more gifts and flower arrangements to his mother and aunts on Christmases and Thanksgiving. And because of blogging I think I have more friends than I did when I was in college.
You excited yet? about the iPhone 4S - I am - and I haven’t been interested in the iPhone at all - but with the new features - well at least with voice assistant called Siri. Yes - Siri is a program that will recognise your voice and from checking your appt and rescheduling - it’s gotta be the smartest machine I’ve come across. I loved it and I’m getting it !! I haven’t had a gadget this smart for a long time - so this will be my advance Christmas present. At $649 - I know it’s ex - but I really would like to get it - after all - money isn’t really an issue here right.
I just watched in action what the iZon remote room monitor can do - and like it a lot because you can do the monitoring from your iPad, iPhone or even the iPod Touch. It has a motion sensor that starts viewing when there is motion in the room - and it’s not just video here - it’s audio as well - so you can watch and hear what is going on at home or even in the office. Wished they had this gadget when my kid was younger and she had a babysitter with her at home. Great gadget to get at only $129.95 - definitely worth my investment - I think I would get this even though my kid is older - because I want to watch over her in her teenage years too.
Big news CEO of Apple Steve Jobs has announced its resignation. Wow!! I really didn’t think he would resign - but I’m guessing his health must have taken a worst turn? since he had been plague with health issues for a long time. Tim Cook will take over Steve’s duties and become the next CEO. The question is will Apple do as well and better without Steve? your guess is as good as mine.
Hate them but can’t do without them - so I’ve decided to get a different kind of visa card - a visa reward cards were the ones that was recommended to me by my friends. Some people like to collect air miles - while I like to collect cash back - or free stuff - with very low interest - should I not be able to clear my credit card at the end of the month. I spend a lot of money on shopping - so a good credit card is definitely a must for me, plus this techy chick is tech savvy right - so I did a little research - and found the one I wanted and would work best for me. What about you ? how do you choose a credit card? do you use your credit card for anything and everything - and spend beyond your means? or are you like myself and only spend what you can afford? I like just 2 credit cards - and the limit must not be too much - why 2? because i need one for back up just in case something goes wrong. And even though I love shopping - I never spend beyond my means.
I never used to like boots - not until I came to Canada - now I shop for boots all the time. So when I got some urban outfitters coupon I decided to take a look at some boots sold online and found this awesome looking boots. Now this boots will take me thru’ from now till the falls and the early winter. I love that it has a thick heel, making it a lot better to walk on. I love boots like that - because it goes with just about anything - from jeans to a skirt - so versatile and easy to mix and match. I could never have worn something like that back home for it is so hot back home - but over here - it’s cold most times - so it’s a good buy for less than $100 - and with the coupons - it’s even better.
Sometime in June this year - Google introduced Google plus - on trial basis - as a gmail user - I was invited by another gmail account holder to try out Google plus - but being on Facebook already took up so much of my time - I asked myself if I needed another social networking app. I didn’t check it out immediately until some friends added me into their circles - so i decided - what the heck - and to take a few minutes and see what is this Google plus all about. Truth be told till today - I’m still not really making use of Google plus - although according to Google they already have like 1 billion users/signed up? But you can use Google plus on your iPhone just like Facebook and video chat too - those in the same circle. And google had been trying hard to convince people that Facebook is a thing of the past and old news. Just like Google they want to own the internet market - from advertising to everything. So some 19 hrs ago - google announced that it has free games for anyone with a Google Plus account. I’m gonna try it out today - and tell you more about it later. Are you on Google plus yet?
I’m trying to look like that ! but of course - you know me - my weight is like a yo - yo and currently - I don’t look like this - but I’m determined to look like this because as soon as I loose some weight - I’m going to do something really special for myself. What? you asked? I want to retake some wedding pictures in a because sexy wedding dress - a short skirt ones. I have everything planned - and am really hoping I get to retake my wedding pictures soon. So now to get some fat burners that work and do some work out and stop eating junk and this techy chick is not going to spend so much time on the computer this summer. I’m going to go outdoors - get lots of fresh air and lose those stubborn fats! wish me luck eh! So don’t invite me to try out any games - or food - unless it’s going swimming or basketball playing.
