Only On Father’s Day

Game consoles are like sexy costumes to the men in the family - those married or in a relationship - you and I know how true it is - this statement i mean.   So we all know like anytime - a new model of any game console comes out that would mean a price cut for the older models.  So if you are those who haven’t allowed the spouse to get one - now is the time.  Only on Father’s day - you can get an Xbox 360 Arcade for as low as 99 bucks!!!  awesome or what?  But wait - it isn’t really $99 - you actually still pay $149 but they give you a gift card to use at Walmart - so the money is still theirs.  But if you don’t mind shopping at Walmart - go right ahead - i hear it’s only for that day.

U Squeeze

I was looking for natural joint pain relief for myself -because at 45, I’m telling you - my joints hurt a lot at times.  And then of course - being an Osim fan - someone introduced the U Squeeze to me since I am diabetic and need to make sure that my blood flow is good on the legs.

It is said that the U Squeeze dilates the blood vessels to aid blood flow throughout your body, thus enhancing oxygen distribution.  It is said to detoxify by flushing out lactic acids and this new machine has reflexology massages to help with the vital points of your body.  It is believed by the Asians that all your vital points ends at your feet.   At $599 Cdn - it’s not as expensive as I’ve expected - I’m really going to think about it - because i love massages.

Travel Much ?

For some who travels a lot like my girlfriends - besides remembering to bring along their  quick weight loss handbook and pills - one also need the above.  What is it - I hear you asking?  Travel light and travel clean is what i call the above.  Each of these Travel Toiletries is a marvel of modern science. Open a pack, remove one of the 50 sheets, and add water. It dissolves into a cleaning product, which you then can use as you are already (hopefully) accustomed. In our experience, 3-4 sheets of shampoo will clean a moderate head of hair. As for the body wash, it will depend on the size of the body you are cleaning, naturally. These are perfect to keep in your desk, your purse, your man bag, your carry-on luggage - everywhere you might encounter unwanted grime.  Now tell me this isn’t the best thing - anyone has invented for the true traveler - especially those with kids.

Cordless Charger For iPhone

I was reading up on some diet pill reviews when i saw someone on the local yardsale looking for a iphone charger - and thought of this that i had seen on Thinkgeek.com a few months ago. I haven’t had a cellphone for a long time now but the best friend had one for a long time now - so she was all into getting all sorts of gadget for it.   As you can see here this wall charger not only charges your iphone but it holds the iphone as well on the wall for you - so you don’t need to have it lying all around and worry someone may knock it off a desk or a chair.  I hear it charges the iPod too - and it only cost $29.99 - pretty cheap - i’ll have to say.

This is how it looks while charging - pretty neat eh - no messy wires or cables - i like it.

Geeky Kids

The kid’s birthday is round the corner - so we need to be getting some party favors but what to get can you get for a bunch of geeky kids around 7 yrs old?   boys included of course.  So while i was shopping for cheap health insurance , another mom recommended a website for me to get these star wars pens. These pens are for kids 6 and up and they are made with LEGO parts and can be mixed and matched to look different everytime you use them.  The ink catridge is also replaceable - so yes a wee bit expensive - but definitely something for keeps.

Gundam

So i was going thru’ some life insurance quote with my best friend and she had brought along their kid - so we were happily chatting about other things - and i was commenting on the transformer figurine that he had brought back from Japan - in which he retorted vehemently that it wasn’t a Transformer - it was a Gundam.  Okkkkk.. I went - haha!!  and explained to him that this old fart isn’t quite up to date.

So this 4 yrs old boy told me - that the Gundam is way cooler than the Transformer and went on a history about it.  You see they just got back from Japan - living there i mean - and this kid had grown up with the Gundam. And there is a Gundam statue measuring 60 ft tall and weighing like 35 tons right in the middle of Odaiba - Tokyo.  I hear that most of the male population in Japan is just crazy over it.  You find the Gundam toy just about anywhere in Japan i heard.   So the next time you head out to Japan - look out for it.

Notebook Cooler

As you all know we own a computer store, so when at first a customer asked me about a year ago for notebook cooler - i had told him that we didn’t have any nor had i heard of any.  He definitely looked like he had  joint pain when i said that - i mean for sure he must have had done his research and the spouse corrected me immediately.   Now that I am using the notebook permanently - i too know that i need a notebook cooler now.   As the notebook gets older and even after blowing dust out - it still doesn’t want to cool down - then you know you need one.  A notebook cooler cost like $35 - and this is a Thermaltake brand with a 23cm fan in it.  It is supposed to be quiet - and improves the overall heat dissipation.   It is very light weight.. and supports from 10 - 17″ notebook.   So if your notebook is overheating - get a notebook cooler quickly before it fries anything up.

Messy Car

Anyone has messy car? with wires of the ipod or even the cellphone charger in the car or whatever nots that is hanging in your car and here you are worried sick that one day - it will all be tangled up and caused the man to have an accident because of all these messy wires? yes !  that would be me of course!  paranoid some may say - but i say precaution is better than cure.  So here i was doing my colon cleansing reviews and came across this picture of a cable buddy and i just had to get it.

This soft, pliable spool of sorts is available in 3 sizes and should work perfectly for everything from headphones to extra-long power cords. Each size holds a different thickness of cable and are reasonably priced between $3.70 and $5. The Bobino has won multiple awards for it’s design and efficiency of use and it’s quite easy to see why!

Dell’s Warranty

If you are by any chance getting a Dell - make sure that it is new - now if you are getting it previously owned or even if you are buying it from a relative - please note that it’s not as easy as buying  big and tall clothing .  Why? because Dell does not warranty your computer - even though they sold an extended warranty to the original owner.  You see about a year ago, we bought one previously owned one - when the keyboard started to go bonkers - we called Dell up because of the extended warranty - but guess what ?  Dell make us go for a merry-go-round and kept telling us that the original owner is not what we claimed to be.  They refused to help us - politely.  I’m not impressed with Dell at all - i did get my keyboard and power supply fixed by with another computer store - but i will never buy a Dell even if they were new.  So watch out if you are buying a Dell.

Colorful Keyboard

Love the colorful keyboard stickers that i found online on Etsy while looking for the top rated wrinkle creams - what a fluke.  So if you want your keyboard to stand out - just for $14.99 - you can have it.  With the high quality printing, these creative sticker will make your MacBook the new home.   The sticker is made by special material-Avery MPI. If you don’t like and want to have a new look, you can clean it easily. Pretty awesome - had to share it with everyone.  Of course, if you like another type - i don’t mind the ones by Christopher Delorenzo.  It’s even cheaper - only $12!  woohoo!
